Eve is Programmes and Research Manager at the African Palliative Care Association, and honorary senior health scientist at the college of Health Sciences, Makerere University. She is also board member at International Association for Hospices and Palliative Care and the Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care in Africa.

She holds masters and PhD degrees in palliative care and rehabilitation from the Cicely Saunders Institute Kings College London. Her research interests include – End of Life care, Quality of Death and Dying, people and person-centred care, pediatric palliative care, patient-public engagement and involvement, social justice and health and equity in health, Global Health, health economics, service development, and health systems strengthening.

She is involved in on-going work on developing person-centred models of care, Integrated child- and family-centred outcome measurement to drive person-centredness and quality use of technology in palliative care, capacity building for palliative care research in Intensive Care Units, and using community led advocacy models to increase uptake for cervical cancer screening.
