Kate Hunt


Social Worker in Research

Kate Hunt is a Social Worker in Research in the Department of Supportive Care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, with a cross-appointment to the Bridging Program with the Hospital for Sick Children. Kate supports patients and families facing cancer through both clinical and research activities. Prior to obtaining her MSW from the University of Toronto (2023), Kate worked as a hospital lawyer specializing in the intersection of mental health care and the criminal justice system. She holds an Honours BA in Psychology from Queens University (2007) and a JD from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law (2011).
