Laura Foran is a dedicated Social Worker and Program Manager for the CALM National Program, where she leads efforts to establish CALM (Managing Cancer and Living Meaningfully) as the standard of care across Canada. Laura is trained to deliver both CALM therapy and Emotion and Symptom Focused Engagement (EASE), a trauma-focused adaptation of CALM.
She holds a Master's of Social Work from the University of Toronto and has additional training in Emotion-focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. With experience in clinical care, qualitative research, and program management, Laura seeks to advance compassionate support to patients and caregivers dealing with life-threatening cancers.
