In collaboration with the University of North Carolina (UNC), GIPPEC developed a revised global version of the QODD (QODD-RGV) measure based on findings of research in Kenya and Uganda.<o :p></o>

Data collection is currently underway with the new measure with 230 bereaved caregivers and staff  across four North American sites: Kensington Hospice, Yee Hong Hospice, Margaret Bahen, and the University of North Carolina (UNC), and in Malawi with the UNC Project Malawi Cancer Program. With support from the Irish Hospice Association, data collection will soon begin in Uganda led by the African Palliative Care Association.
